2. Buck 245 MWG Seal Knife ($245)
“Designed by a SEAL for SEALs” is the motto of the 245 Matt Would Go (MWG), as it was designed to honor Special Warfare Operator First Class (SEAL) Matthew J. Leathers, who was lost at sea in 2013, by his father, Tim Leathers. This super light knife weighs just over 6 ounces and offers a blade length of 4 inches, with an overall length of 9 inches.
3. SOG Huntspoint Boning ($127)
SOG’s Huntspoint series has earned a place in the hearts of outdoorsmen everywhere, and the Boning’s flat-ground, lightweight design (3.7 ounces) is yet another addition to the impressive lineup. With a stout, sturdy 3 ½-inch blade length and an overall length just over 8 inches, the Boning is a great addition to any outdoors arsenal.
4. Gerber StrongArm ($86)
The StrongArm is Gerber’s newest survival knife, and is designed with military survival training in mind. In the StrongArm, Gerber added a diamond-textured handle to provide additional grip, and also modular sheath system that allows for multiple carry options. The StrongArm’s overall length falls just under 10 inches, with a blade length of nearly 5 inches, and weighs just over 7 ounces.
